The dogs loved it, too! I think it was in the 40’s, but it really felt so much warmer with the sun shining so brightly.

                

Anybody good with animal tracks? Is this a bunny?

I received such a lovely package in the mail this week. It is from the girls in the Yahoo Group C-R-A-F-T. They are so great. Really special friends. The girls in the group make up these heart squares and send them to the group owner. Then when someone in the group hits a rough patch, a quilt gets made for her. This was sent to me in sympathy for my mom’s passing in November. Do you see that lovely quilting? That was done by Pam.

 

Do you do the Fab Shop Hop? I do and I have won a gift certificate two times! I am currently working my way through again. This last time I won a gift certificate to Some Art Fabric. I had never bought a charm pack before, so that is what I chose. It turned out the one I ordered was sold out, so the owner called me and asked what I’d rather have. I told her I’d still like a charm pack and the colors I was interested in and asked her to choose one for me. Usually the way the gift certificates work is that you pay the shipping. But because she felt bad, the owner sent me the charm pack and paid the shipping! That was totally unnecessary, but how sweet was that? I ask you all to visit Some Art Fabric and keep in mind what great people they are!

I used the Botany Charm Pack Reversible Purse pattern by Moda. It’s a little smaller than I had thought it would be and I might be hard pressed to get all my junk in it, but it sure is cute! All I needed to add to the charm pack to make this purse was some batting, thread, and a button! No that’s a bargain!
